What kind of marriage do you want?
If you answered that question with “I want a good marriage,” my book is not for you. Frankly, I don’t want a good marriage, and I don’t want to help you develop a good marriage.
- Suitable, fit
- Agreeable, pleasant, wholesome
- Adequate, satisfactory
I want much more than a good marriage. I want a marriage that meets my needs and fulfills my hopes and dreams. I want a marriage that makes me feel like the luckiest man on earth. I don’t want a good marriage; I want a magnificent marriage!
- Marked by extraordinary elegance, beauty, and splendor
- Large and impressive in size, scope, or extent
- Far beyond what is usual, normal, or customary
Unfortunately, you can’t order an extraordinary marriage online and get it delivered to your front door in a couple of days, nor can you purchase a large and impressive marriage at your local big box store or corner pharmacy. There is no appliance or pill that can produce a magnificent marriage for you. Magnificent marriages have to be intentionally molded by two people who know how to shape a magnificent marriage.
In The Ten Habits of Magnificent Marriages, I will teach you and your mate how to build your dream marriage by practicing the ten habits (change, honesty, confrontation, forgiveness, submission, spending, sex, parenting, priorities and commitment) that form the foundation for marriage. Don’t settle for a good marriage when you can build a magnificent marriage!
